From Narita Airport to Tokyo Institute of Technology
There are two lines to go to downtown Tokyo from Narita Airport.
One is "JR Line" and another one is "Keisei Line".
I recommend you to take "JR line" because it is easier.

---|---|
At Narita station, take the "JR Sobu Line" except "Narita Express (N'EX) (you need special fare)" to Tokyo station. When you use JR Sobu Line, buy a ticket to Oimachi (1450 JPY=approx. 15 USD). It takes approximately 80 min from Narita station to Tokyo station. Then take the "JR Keihin-Tohoku Line" bound for south from Tokyo to Oimachi (via Shinagawa). |
Take the "Skyliner(1900 JPY=approx. 19 USD)" or "Limited express(1000 JPY=approx. 10 USD)" to Nippori station (One station before the final stop "Ueno" because Ueno station is not convenient) and transfer to the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line. Buy a ticket for JR Line to Oimachi (210 JPY=approx. 2 USD), or use fare adjustment machine. Then take the "Keihin-Tohoku Line" bound for south from Nippori to Oimachi. |
At Oimachi station, use north exit, and transfer to
"Tokyu Oimachi Line" (150 JPY=approx. 1.5 USD). You can see Tokyo Institute
of Technology from the exit. Here, see the map of Tokyo Institute of Technology Please do not hesitate to call us. -------- Telephone No. of Ando and Hirokawa Lab. -------- You can use local phone (free, no charge) at the entrance of |
